The Hippo Table was a collaboration and custom commission from Conrad Koslowsky Architects, for use as a communal hub in their design for the Lighthouse Pedagogy Trust’s first children’s home. The table’s large oval shape was chosen so that there was a feeling of calmness and equality when sitting around it. Made Entirely out of solid oak, the Hippo table showcased traditional furniture making skills to spark the kid’s interest.
